We know how important it is to always have access to your funds. At The Credit Union we offer a range of 24/7 options including Internet Banking, Phone Banking and SMS Banking.

Internet Banking (cu@home)

Your Credit Union is at your fingertips with cu@home. From the comfort of your own home or any internet connection around the world, you can view your accounts and transactions, transfer funds and pay bills using BPAY®, all at the click of a mouse.

  How do I get started?

Using cu@home to do your banking is easy. Follow these steps to get started:

  1. Firstly, you will need your member number and access code.
  2. If you don't have an access code, you will need to contact Western City Direct on 1300 937 888 or visit our branch.
  3. Go to our homepage and follow the links to cu@home.
  4. As long as you have the correct equipment (suitable computer, operating system and software and access to the Internet) you can begin internet banking.

Is cu@home secure?
Absolutely! Western City Credit Union's website is a secure region, with cu@home using the advanced technology of 128-bit encryption, preventing unauthorised access.

Logout Option
cu@home has a "log out" option that we encourage you use if leaving your computer unattended for any reason. Clicking on the "log out" tab will prevent others viewing your membership details.

Lock out
If your password is incorrectly entered a number of times cu@home will "lock out" the user. If it is an innocent password mistake on your behalf, simply call Western City Direct on 1300 937 888 to have your access code re-activated.

Phone Banking

Our Telephone Banking Service gives you 24 hour access to your accounts from any touchphone. It's a free service, you only pay the cost of a local call, regardless of where you ring from within Australia.

  • Access the balances of Loans, Savings and Term Deposit accounts
  • Transfer money between your accounts and other pre-nominated members' accounts
  • Obtain your last 5 transactions (up to max 15 transactions)
  • Find out your interest earned last Financial Year
  • Change your access code
  • Pay your bills using BPAY®
  How do I get started?

Phone Banking is easy to use. Just call 1300 937 888 then follow the step by step instructions.

The automated voice will also help to guide you through these steps.

  1. Phone 1300 937 888
  2. After the welcome message, key in your Membership Number, then press the * key.
  3. Key in your Access Code, then press the * key. At the main menu, select the service you require by pressing the corresponding number.

When you have finished your transaction, simply replace the handset.

 

SMS Banking

Our text messaging service is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week from your mobile phone. It's a convenient way to check your account balances before withdrawing or making a purchase. You can even set up alerts to notify you when your pay has been deposited into your account!

  • Receive account information by SMS to your mobile phone
  • Receive an SMS alert when an electronic payment from, Payroll, Direct Credit, Pension and or Family Allowance
  • Request bank account information via SMS
  How do I get started?

Registering for SMS Banking is easy. All you have to do is contact our Call Centre on 13 22 49 or visit one of our branches.

Prior to applying for our SMS Banking we recommend that you read the General Information containing Conditions of Use for this service, which is available from any branch or by contacting our call centre.

Once your registration has been processed you will be sent a welcome SMS and you are ready to go!

Send B1, B2, B3 ...etc This Returns the balances of your first, second, third etc listed Savings account.
Send BL1, BL2 ...etc This Returns the balance of the first, second etc listed Loan account.
Send BI1, BI2 ...etc This Returns the balance of the first, second etc listed Investment account.
Send T1, T2, T3 ...etc This Returns your transactions on your first, second, third etc listed account.
